Pot Roast Beef

Try this tasty, traditional roast for your Sunday dinner or your next get together with friends.

Time: 2 hours 30 minutes

Pot Roast Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 kg rolled silverside
  • 1 large onion
  • 3 carrots
  • 3 celery sticks
  • 2 tins of chopped tomatoes
  • salt & pepper

Method

  1. Brown meat and put it in a casserole.
  2. Cut onions, carrots and celery (into batons) and put them around the meat.
  3. Season everything with salt and pepper.
  4. Cover it with the chopped tomatoes.
  5. Leave it in the oven at 180 degrees for 2 hours.
