
BEEF
Our high-quality Scotch Beef is from young heifers that are born, reared & processed on selected farms in the Scottish Borders. These farms all adopt best practices regarding animal welfare and production methods.
The meat is specially selected at Harrison & Hetherington Auction Mart in Newton St Boswells, Melrose.
All our beef is hung for a minimum of 21 days and is fully traceable. Check out our posters in the shop to find out where our current batch has come from.
What cut to choose
To make your choice easier, we have divided our beef into three categories: Stewing cuts, Steaks and Roasting Joints.
Portion sizes (per person)
If you're planning a beef roast, the rule of thumb is usually 200 to 250 g per person. For steaks, we recommend 200 g per person (150 g for fillet) as well as 200 g for stewing beef and 150 g per person for mince.
From 4th April 2022, we will charge £1 for local deliveries over £20 to cover the rising costs of fuel.
For nationwide orders, we are unable to deliver to the following areas: Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, Scilly Islands and some areas of the Scottish Highlands and Islands.
